PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA THIRUVANNAMALAI

In 2007, The vidyalaya started functioning in the rented campus at Gandhi Nagar 5th Street. Initially the vidyalaya had classes from one to five.

In 2013, The Vidyalaya is presently functioning in the same rented building and is having classes up to tenth. Presently there are about 400 children studying in different classes. First batch of class tenth is taking the examination during the current year.

In 2015, The Vidyalaya shifted in permanent and newly constructed building in Kanathampoondi Village.

1. 2007
   The vidyalaya was started in a small way in the Gandhi Nagar campus, a rented building with five classes from one to five
2. 2008
   Class VI was introduced in the Vidyalaya
3. 2009
   Class VII was introduced in the Vidyalaya
4. 2010
   Class VIII was introduced in the Vidyalaya
5. 2011
   Class IX was introduced in the Vidyalaya
6. 2012
   Class tenth was introduced in the Vidyalaya
7. 2013
   The first batch of class X appeared for the Board conducted CBSE class X examination.
8. 2017
   The first batch of class XI (Science) was introduced in the Vidyalaya.
